“Hi, I’m Lauren! I am looking for projects that people in Philadelphia can participate in. Do you have such a project? Email me at Lauren@SciStarter.com!”

Hi, everyone! My name is Lauren Schreck, and I am so excited to introduce myself as one of SciStarter’s new interns! I am currently a junior at Saint Joseph’s University, double majoring in Business Administration and Economics with a concentration in International Business. My work at SciStarter includes research in citizen science and environmental policy. With a passion for the community and an ambitious attitude, I hope to bring new aspirations to our team!

“Hi, I’m Joseph! I’m researching Philadelphia-based projects to be featured on WHYY radio and our 76ers game showcase in November! E-mail me at Joseph@SciStarter.com!”

Hi, everyone! My name is Joseph Kren, and I’m a junior Economics major at Saint Joseph’s University. I lived in Brussels, Belgium, for high school, and I hope to work for the government someday. I have a heavy interest in economic policy, and how it affects various aspects of life. Right now I am focusing on researching Philadelphia-based projects that we can showcase for WHYY radio and our 76ers game showcase in November!

Lily Bui

Although she holds dual non-science bachelors’ degrees in International Studies and Spanish from the University of California Irvine, Lily has long harbored a proclivity for the sciences. A daughter of an engineer and an accountant who also happen to be a photographer and musician, respectively, Lily grew up on the nexus between science and art. Lily has worked on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C.; served a year in AmeriCorps in Montgomery County, Maryland; worked for a New York Times bestselling ghostwriter in California; and performed across the U.S. as a touring musician. She currently works with WGBH-TV Boston and Public Radio Exchange (PRX) in Cambridge. In her spare time, she thinks of cheesy science puns (mostly to entertain herself). // Tweets @dangerbui
