Required Gear:
Potential citizen botanists will need to undergo a two-day budding botanist training before participating.
Once trained, we provide citizen botanists with all the field tools necessary to participate, but you must bring your own backpack.
The project has several volunteer positions, but field researcher may require rugged, long-distance hiking in the desert. Participants must provide their own food, water, and appropriate dress for field work.
