Searches are based on the following:

1. Project name
2. Tags and keywords, as added by the project manager
3. Explicit topics and categories added by the project manager
4. Project descriptions as added by the project owner
5. Project location as added by the project owner, if the user is searching with that criterion
6. Flags, such as whether or not the project has teaching materials
7. Goal and Task

Projects that are no longer active or marked as being "on hold," will not appear in public search results.
