The Southern African coastline is known for its outstanding diversity in marine wildlife. 204 out of 1188 known Chondrichthyans (sharks, rays, skates & chimaera) occur in Southern Africa, making it the 4th most diverse hotspot for these species.
|How to Join||
You can participate anytime - there is no registration needed. Simply report your finds on our website: http://www.elmoafrica.org/#!submission/x3gx2
|Special Skills||The identification of species or eggcases requires basic skills in using simple identification keys, but is not mandatory if photographs are submitted.|
