If you can do basic data entry, you can help FALAFEL digitize the Fungal Herbarium of the Florida Museum of Natural History! The herbarium has over 40,000 records of fleshy fungi, polypores, and a multitude of plant pathogens. In order to make the records more useful to the general public and researchers, we need to transcribe these herbarium labels.
The Transcribe-a-Thon will take place 12-3pm on Sunday, October 21, in the 3rd floor computer lab (L308) of UF Marston Science Library. Stay for as little or as long as you like! Snacks will be served. Free and open to the public. This event is part of WeDigBio 2018.
