Project Silkmoth accepts sightings of giant silkmoths from northern New York State, defined as any part of the state north of Albany or Syracuse. Visit the website to see photos of the moths and information on where to find the moths and how to submit your sightings.

|How to Join||
No membership is required. Moth sightings can be submitted online, or a data sheet can be downloaded at the website. Required information for a sighting includes moth common name, date of sighting, specific location of sighting and habitat information. Photos are only required for certain species, as stated on the website.
|Project Timing||Silk moth adults are on the wing from May 15 to August 15 in this area. Sightings can be submitted at any time but please include accurate date and location information for each sighting.|
