The Secchi Tube is used to measure stream water clarity or "transparency." The Secchi tube is available in 2 standard lengths and measures water clarity up to either 60 cm or 120 cm. However, the MPCA Citizen Stream Monitoring Program Secchi tube is custom made to 100 cm length. |
